Traveling with friends beats traveling alone any day (and yes- I now consider you my friend).  Perhaps you’re a bored, 9-5 blog junky trying to fill the void between now and quittin’ time, or maybe you’ve stumbled across this page by mistake while (whilst?) browsing for John Steinbeck books- in which case, the link that you’re looking for is here. My name is Andrew and I will be spending the next 9 months working as an English teacher in Andalucía, Spain.  My goal for this blog is to keep an account of my time here complete with the experiences, opportunities, and challenges that I will be faced over this next year, as an attempt to perhaps give others an idea of what can be expected in this type of job after college.

I’m not a particularly gifted writer, but I’m also hoping that this blog forces me to improve and reflect better on the experiences I encounter.  So, please feel free to comment, ask questions, or make suggestions on anything you see here!
